KOLO 2007 Public Convenience, 9th edition |2007|
A free-standing public convenience in Kazimierz Dolny
Idea. The building and its surrounding's - the panorama of Kazimierz
- location makes this project a rather more landscape than architectural
one. Conservative and nature-wise solutions, elsewhere unacceptable,
here seem to be adequate, even progressive. Such circumstances
led us to a slightly plunged stone rotunda - a terse and compact
form with reference to local ones. The rotunda was cut by a gorge
that divides the circle into functionally separate halves.
